Dopest runners

Dopest Runners was founded in 2021 in Stockholm as an alternative to traditional running groups. Its goal is to inspire and help people explore running as a fun and social way to exercise. The crew aims to transform running from an individual sport into a team experience where everyone plays for the same side, regardless of their previous running experience. Dopest Runners is committed to making running accessible to everyone, striving to be the most inclusive running crew in the country.

BNBRC

BNBRC (Burgers n Brew Run Crew) is one of Sweden’s oldest running groups. Since 2017, they’ve held over 350 sessions, run countless races, and built a strong community of 400+ runners—from beginners to elites. Every Wednesday, they meet for interval training in central Stockholm. BNBRC is open to all: run at your own pace, but always together—followed by food, drinks, and great company. Their mission? To make running fun, social, and accessible for everyone.

YO Running Club is a crew of homies brought together by identity, loyalty, and a shared drive to run.

Stockholm run club

Stockholm Run Club is a running club founded in the summer of 2020 by a passionate group of friends who love running. Their goal was to build a community that comes together several times a week for distance runs, interval training, and social events. From day one, all sessions have been completely free of charge—making it possible for anyone to join, regardless of background, social status, ethnicity, ability, or experience. It’s a club for everyone.

Josefine Johnsson

Josefine “Jossan” Johnsson is a long-distance runner and content creator with a deep passion for running. Through her social media channels, she shares her training journey to inspire and motivate others to find joy in movement. She primarily competes in 10K races and half marathons, focusing on her development as a runner. Her goal is to help more people discover how fun and rewarding endurance sports can be.

Maraton-labbet

Maratonlabbet is one of the most well-informed running podcasts in Sweden. With a mix of joy, curiosity and nerdy interviews they have inspired runners since 2018. The two hosts, Johan and Erik, have taken advice from different elite runners and other experts which have helped them improve their marathon records from around 3.15 to 2.43 and 2.29.

Pulse pacers

Pulse Pacers is a community of runners, movers, and good-vibe chasers based in Stockholm. No pressure, no pace too slow—just people coming together to run, laugh, and lift each other up. They believe running should be fun, social, and something you genuinely look forward to. From first-timers to seasoned striders, everyone’s part of the pack. They run the streets, celebrate the small wins, and always finish stronger—together, with hot dogs, beers, and ping pong.

Anders Szalkai

After a successful elite career in marathon running – during which he became the most recent Swedish male winner of the adidas Stockholm Marathon – Anders Szalkai has become one of Sweden’s most respected running coaches. He is a trained physical education teacher and has, over the years, helped countless recreational runners achieve their goals through his popular training programs. Anders has also served as the head coach for TSM Running, one of the country’s largest training groups for recreational runners. In addition, he is the editor-in-chief of the Swedish edition of Runner’s World.
